Kate Tobie

After a successful career as a college basketball player at Montclair State University, Kate has joined the Fortis Agency as a financial services professional. Her mission is to simplify very complex financial concepts, so they are easy for her clients to understand. By helping her clients build a strong financial foundation, she helps them grow their wealth and reach their financial goals. 

Kate completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University, where she also served as a 3-year captain on the Women’s Basketball Team. More recently, she graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership in Sports Management, while working as a Graduate Assistant Basketball Coach for the Women’s team on campus. Her background in coaching helps her to guide her clients to success, as she did with her athletes. Kate enjoys golfing, painting, playing basketball, and spending time with her family.
